Chocolate Almond Milk

This one has a light chocolaty taste. It’s great by itself, in a shake or a cafe latte instead of milk ! Yum
Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 4 cups water
- 2 tbsp. Raw Cacao or 2 tsp. Epicure Pure Cocoa Powder
- 1 tbsp. organic maple syrup or Epicure Canadian Maple Sugar
- 1 tsp. Epicure Vanilla Extract or 1 vanilla bean in tact
- Dash Epicure Sea Salt
1. In a blender add the almonds, cacao or cocoa and water, blend for 1 minute. Strain using a thin sieve or a cheese cloth. Pour the almond milk into a glass container, add maple, vanilla and sea salt. You can store for 4-5 days in the fridge.
Makes 4 servings: Serving size= 1 cup
